Sweet chilli pork and rice

I've been trying out a few new foods at the moment to try and change my dinners up a bit! I'm still a little funny with beef sadly! But I saw some pre cut stir fry pork and decided I would give it a try. To my surprise It was really nice and really easy to make!



Here what you need, serves 2

Ingredients:

  • Pork stir fry strips

  • Sweet chilli sauce

  • 120g rice

  • Salt

  • Cooking oil

Method

  1. Bring a pan of hot water to the boil then add the rice and a sprinkle of salt and simmer for 10 minutes

  2. While the rice cooks, heat a little oil in a frying pan and add the pork, cook for 5-6 minutes until the pork is cooked through

  3. Drain the fat from the pork

  4. Put the pork back on the heat and add your sweet chilli sauce ( as much as you desire!)

  5. Heat until hot through

  6. Drain the rice

  7. Serve
